Your team will consist of a project coordinator in our office, a field supervisor, and trade specialists. Our Process
We want you to feel comfortable with your remodeling project, so we suggest you take the time to explore our portfolio to get some ideas. Once you have decided on what you would like to accomplish with your remodel, we are ready to begin helping you make that dream into a reality. Here’s how we’ll create the space of your dreams:
Consultation
Call or e-mail to schedule for a first-hand look at the products, and meet with an expert designer to discuss the details of your Kitchen and Bath remodel.
Initial measure
It is important for us to come to your residence and evaluate the space in person. A measure technician will measure the space specifical to where you’d like to remodel. All measurement details and pictures will be sent to your designer in order for the individual to design accordingly.
Design
Your designer will prepare a computer-generated diagram of your space based on your unique requirements and requests for you to review and easily make changes.
Final measure
Once the design is finished, your designer and Jexpo will meet at the job site to review the design and approve the final details of your project’s cabinet placement, appliance specifications, and building code compliance to ensure your satisfaction with the plan.
Cabinet inspection
Upon arrival of your cabinets please call the office in order to schedule your inspection. Jexpo will arrive to the project location and inspect each cabinet for you. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure all cabinets are in excellent condition, the second is to take inventory and verify all cabinets have arrived, the last is to verify the cabinets are consistent color/stain that was ordered. Once all three are verified the office will contact you in regards to the install date. All cabinets must be present and in good condition in order for Jexpo to schedule your install.
Scheduling
After the decisions have been made, the contract has been signed, and cabinets have been inspected our office manager will email you a detailed timeline stating which tradesman will show up, at what time, and how long each trade will take including dates for inspection. A project manager will meet with you to review the project and discuss the details of your project as well.

When will I have my install date?
Your schedule is presented after the cabinet inspection. All cabinets must be present and in good condition in order to set up an install date. If a door or drawer is damaged it does not hold back the install date. Doors and drawers can always be replaced after the cabinets have been installed.

Can Jexpo demolish my kitchen and bathroom?
Jexpo is more than happy to demolish your kitchen and bathroom. If your house was built before 1978 a lead and asbestos test is necessary in order to ensure the safety of the homeowner and employees performing labor. The EPA also mandates these tests. If results come negative, Jexpo is in the clear and more than happy to perform the demolition. If results come positive the homeowner must now go through an abatement process before the remodel begins.

Can Jexpo remove one of the walls in my kitchen or bathroom?
Jexpo will remove any wall that is NOT load bearing or structural. Jexpo does not remove load bearing or structural walls.

My contractor installed my cabinets incorrectly, can you fix it?
Jexpo Construction will only install cabinets that have gone through the process of a second measure. Jexpo will only install new cabinets that have not been installed.

Is a permit necessary?
All electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural upgrades/work must be permitted. It protects you, the homeowner. Cabinet installation does not require a permit. Jexpo will wait and deal with the inspectors for your convenience. Please be sure to have a smoke detector installed in each bedroom and a carbon monoxide detector installed in the hallway before the final inspection is scheduled with the city.
