• When will I have my install date?

    Your schedule is presented after the cabinet inspection. All cabinets must be present and in good condition in order to set up an install date. If a door or drawer is damaged it does not hold back the install date. Doors and drawers can always be replaced after the cabinets have been installed.

  • Can Jexpo demolish my kitchen and bathroom?

    Jexpo is more than happy to demolish your kitchen and bathroom. If your house was built before 1978 a lead and asbestos test is necessary in order to ensure the safety of the homeowner and employees performing labor. The EPA also mandates these tests.  If results come negative, Jexpo is in the clear and more than happy to perform the demolition. If results come positive the homeowner must now go through an abatement process before the remodel begins.

  • Can Jexpo remove one of the walls in my kitchen?

    Jexpo will remove any wall that is NOT load bearing. Jexpo does not remove load bearing walls.

  • My contractor installed my cabinets incorrectly, can you fix it?

    Jexpo Construction will only install cabinets that have gone through the process of a second measure. Jexpo will only install new cabinets that have not been installed.

  • Is a permit necessary?

    All electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural upgrades/work must be permitted. It protects you, the homeowner. Cabinet installation does not require a permit. Jexpo will wait and deal with the inspectors for your convenience. Please be sure to have a smoke detector installed in each bedroom and a carbon monoxide detector installed in the hallway before the final inspection is scheduled with the city.
